Your New Fall Handbag…

By Michelle, 15 November, 2009, 1 Comment

While our outside scenery may be lacking in color and vibrancy, our wardrobe and accessories should not!  I just purchased a new plum handbag for my birthday from the Coach Store and I have been stopped more times than I can count in the past few weeks about this bag.  I will tell you that I will not put this particular handbag in the “bargain” or “deal” category, but this posting is more relational to the trend of Fall handbags in general.

This is the new Maggie bag from the Madison Collection that I just purchased from Coach in the past few weeks.  The plum color is beautiful and I am complimented daily on this bag.  This bag retails for $348 at Coach.com.  (As I mentioned, not exactly a bargain.)  But, what I want to point out is that the trend this Fall is COLOR..  Teal, Plum, Berry, Cobalt…  the list is endless!  Do not be intimidated by a colored bag that may not “match” what you are wearing…  I carry this bag with everything I wear.. from Black to Grey to Red to Teal.  Do not get boxed in with the basic Black or Brown bag… take a step out of the box and add a pop of color!

14336_a9While I absolutely LOVE the Maggie Bag from Coach because it is not only beautiful but functional with the smaller compartments that make organization easy, it may not make sense for your budget.  As you add to your wardrobe this Fall, keep an eye out for a colored bag that is both functional and stylish and fits your budget.   Remember… your bag should not just be  a “pretty” face.

 Happy Handbag Hunting…  ~Michelle
