You need a Cocktail… Ring!

What comes to mind when you think of cocktail rings?  Do you immediately cringe and think about your great-grandmothers jeweled cocktail ring that looks something like… pZALE1-5914013t400

Do not fear, the cocktail rings I am referring to look nothing like what your great-grandmother wore and can be fabulous additions to your jewelry collection.  Also, because they are fashion jewelry and not made with real diamonds or jewels, they can be quite affordable.   I found a few rings that I think will certainly get some attention when you wear them.

_5913421The first is a ring that would fit perfectly with your little black cocktail dress for Christmas or New Years Eve.   The Flower Ring by Ariella Collection at Nordstrom.com is a light catching ring with a large center stone surrounded by petals of cubic zirconia that will really get some attention when you grab that glass of champagne.   Better yet, why save this just for a special occasion?  Girls night out or date night seems like a great time to wear this, as well.  And for $78 at Nordstrom, this would also make a great last minute Christmas gift.  If you order by December 20th, you will get this ring in time for Christmas or you can shop online and pick up in store.

This next ring from Kenneth Jay Lane at Saks.com is a great day or evening ring.  This ring features a bold 0401613192043R_300x400Swarovski crystal in a beautiful shade of aqua surrounded by a field of resin beads in a dark coral color.  The coral brings in a great pop of color for the daytime and the crystal shines for a nice transition to evening.  Not to mention the color makes me think of warm, tropical weather which can be a great pick me up when its cold out.

ringThis last ring I chose for a few different reasons… First, it has a fabulous large turquoise center stone surrounded with a detailed gold pendant.  Turqouise is a stone that never goes out of style and can be worn with jeans and a t-shirt or a cocktail dress.   This ring is bold and beautiful and is sure to turn some heads.  The second reason I chose the Blu Bijoux Gold and Turquoise Cocktail Ring is that its only $45 on Max&Chloe.com, making it a pretty good bargain for something that is sure to stand the test of time.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on a stand-out cocktail ring that you can rock like a celeb.  Keep an eye out for sample sales or inexpensive pieces like these that are bold, beautiful and fun!
